C.A.R.E. Inc. is a non-profit organization founded to rescue, provide shelter, medical care, and adoption of neglected, abused, and unwanted dogs and cats. C.A.R.E. is located in Ruskin, FL (Tampa Bay area) and was launched in August 2000 as a non-profit, no kill animal shelter. Since then we have grown in membership, purchased a small parcel of land (formerly a pet motel) and developed plans for a larger building to accommodate our "family."

The South Shore Marauders is a social group promoting the South Shore and supporting the local community. We are an all female krewe of 100 professional women, founded in 2000. We are based out of South Eastern Hillsborough County. We participate in all major and minor local parades as well as host events in and serve our home area. We are a non profit organization as well as a fun group of women.
